Sprawling in an area of about 620 sq. km., this reserve is a flourishing space for big cats because of the strong prey base, water availability, and safety from the poachers. Jungle also is known for its riveting list of birds, some native and some migrants. There are six gates in the Tadoba Tiger Reserve that give access to the wild world. There are many interesting things one can do at Tadoba like Jeep Safari, visiting the open butterfly garden near the Agarzari gate, night safari to get the true essence of the wild in the dark, boat rides on the backwaters of the lake Irai and log hut stay. It is the vibrancy of the hinterland and biodiversity that makes Tadoba a coveted destination for jungle safari.

Manikgarh Fort: An ancient hill fort built by the last Mana Naga King in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. This fort is situated at 507 meters above sea level. It is built with large black boulders with enclosed walls making it impregnable, leaving the southern side. There is a temple at the top without any deity inside, however, alongside the temple is a small Shiva Linga. The fort is in ruins yet a very popular hiking spot. The trail for the fort hiking starts from the Vaishali village and takes about 2 hours to reach the hilltop of the fort. One can get a very clear view of Prabalgad fort and the valleys around from the hilltop. It is advised to travel in groups.

Anandvan by Baba Amte in Varora: Literally translated as “jungle of happiness”, is an Ashram for leprosy and other patients from the underprivileged strata. It was built as a community rehabilitation center by Baba Amte in 1949 and is now known as a smart village with many ongoing sustainable projects. It was built with the hope of providing a dignified living to the marginalized section of the society. The key areas where this community actively focuses are healthcare, education, environment, agriculture, and livelihood. Many people volunteer in spreading the good work and embracing the selflessness with which this community has been functioning. This rehabilitation community today works as a non-profit organization known as Maharogi Sewa Samiti.

Ramdegi: A dense forest, a lost Shiva temple, and a captivating waterfall sliding through the rugged rocks. If all this sounds interesting then Ramdegi is just the place for you. This mystical land can truly give an “Indiana Jones” experience. Inside Ramdegi village is Ramdegi temple or Buddha Vihar. It's a very serene environment to see monks meditating around the idols of Gautam Buddha. This archaic village was named after a popular belief that Lord Rama spent some time here during his exile. It is said that a lot of wild animals roam around in the temple complex including the Bengal tigers. It’s a perfect spot for a picnic provided you carry food and water alongside as this village is very sparsely inhabited.

Gandhiji’s Ashram: Popularly known as Sevagram, is a small village. After the salt satyagraha, Gandhiji visited Wardha in 1934 and chose its outskirts to be his new residence and renamed it Sevagram in 1936. This place became an important office during the independence of India. Many important decisions on national matters were taken at Sevagram. To abolish the caste system, Ashram undertook many low-caste, particularly Harijans to work on the same premises. It was created as a community where people from all sections of the society can exist harmoniously with a simplistic living. It is a very peaceful place and Gandhiji’s cottage along with his mortal belongings is still preserved. Each and every element of this place narrates Gandhi's way of living, beliefs, and ideologies. Visitors can buy souvenirs like Khadi, spices, and other articles of interest.
