Nathuakhan is a village in Ramgarh block of the Nainital district in the state of Uttarakhand. It is situated at a height of 6,400 feet in the heart of the Kumaon mountains of the central Himalayas, close to the towns of Mukteshwar and Nainital.

Thirty minutes and you are in the tranquil tea shaded courtyard of an isolated medieval temple an hour and you can be beside a cool, gurgling stream.
